The story behind the music

Our Mission

Our mission is to spread the light and love of the Gospels to every corner of the world. We believe in the power of worship and the transformative message of the Gospels.

Born Adjovi Clarisse Akpofon on August 12 in Lomé, Togo, Clarisse Flambeau is the youngest of nine children from a devout Catholic family deeply rooted in local tradition. Music found her early: she grew up surrounded by the hymns and psalms her parents and community sang after Mass, and by the colorful traditional rhythms that filled her neighborhood every weekend. That upbringing — equal parts devotion and celebration — still shapes the sound she makes today.

In July 2024, she released her debut album, L'Obéissance ("Obedience"), nine songs sung primarily in French and Éwé, a Togolese vernacular language, through Heaven Musics Record. She carried the project beyond Togo's borders that same year, holding a press conference in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, to introduce the album to a wider West African Christian audience — describing her conviction, simply, that music has never had borders.

Since then she has kept a steady release pace — singles including "Adonaï," "Il Te Tend La Main," "Permets-Moi," "Agbenala," "Ton Ministère," "Ho Boubou," and "Grand Roi" — while stepping increasingly into worship leadership, singing alongside full choirs and bands at live gospel gatherings. Now based in Florida, U.S., she continues to write and perform across the Togolese, West African, and diaspora gospel community, carrying a message of obedience, hope, and adoration wherever she sings.

"Every song I sing is first a prayer. Before it ever reaches an ear, it passes through the heart of God — and that is where its strength comes from. If you are walking through a season that feels heavy today, be still for a moment: you are not carrying it alone. Grace goes ahead of you, and joy is coming in the morning."

Psalm 30:5 · Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning
